bring them with you and you'll be ready to soar too!
Dear Parent,
It’s time to begin registering and planning for the upcoming 2010-11 Awana year. The adventure continues with thrilling programs for clubbers in grades K-12 Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. beginning on September 1st.
In Sparky-land, K-2nd, we will start a new series of adventures with Sparky in the new “SkyStormer" book and in the Truth & Training program, 3rd-6th, the Ulitimate Adventure and Ultimate Challenge continues. The 7th-8th graders continue on their Trek with the Roadsign Series. We are excited about the upcoming year and hope your children will join us for a challenging year of growing in their relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as we get set to take-off.
In Journey 24/7, many of the high schoolers will serve as Leaders-In-Training on Wednesday evenings, however their club continues to meet on Sundays at 3:30 p.m. for games, study and handbook memory work.
We do offer a Cubbies program for the 3 & 4 year old children of our leadership. If you have a preschooler that you wish to register and you would like to serve in a leadership capacity in one of our Awana Clubs, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can ensure a place for your child and determine where you are interested in serving. We would love to have you as part of our leadership team. Our motto is ~ “Reaching Boys and Girls with the Gospel of Christ and Training them to Serve Him”. Join us in this powerful ministry to God’s Kids!
There is an Orientation and Basic Training for leaders on August 28th at Sonrise in Santee. If you are planning to serve in club this year it is strongly encouraged that you attend this important training.
At the bottom of this page are links to registration and medical release forms. You will need one for each child – Registration on one side and Medical Release Permission on the other side. So, print one of each form, fill out the common information, make copies for each of your children, then fill-in each child’s specific data and bring the forms with you to one of our registration days listed at the top of this page. Remember, you will need a registration form with medical release on back for each child.
We consider it a privilege to work with your children and we are always willing to answer any of your questions. Please feel free to contact us at home in the evenings or via e-mail during the day.
